Life in 4th grade with Alishia!!!

Today my class went to the Aquatic center. We learned different ways to swim. At the end we got to have free time and Anja, Bella, and I went down the slide again and again. When we went down we screamed and spun around in the slide. It was really fun. We also had to run with the whirl pool. That was also cool. There is also lily pads that you can hop on to the other side. Well, thats what my class did today. Hope you liked it.

In gym we get to go to the Aquatic center. At the Aquatic center you can swim in the water park, play basketball and more. When we go with our gym teacher, Mr. Robinson, he teaches us different ways to swim. Like doggy paddle, backstroke, and more. In the water park theres a slide and whirlpool. The slide twists and turns. I love going to the Aquatic center, and I hope you will if you go, you will too!!!!!

We have been exploring websites for kids.
There are many websites out on the internet that kids learn, explore, connect with kids,and play!

My choice is a website that has some games and you can watch a movie. You can also read books, and learn facts about animals.

I like it because it’s fun to play the games, and learn many facts. It’s also just really fun. I like the comics too.

I have a book baggie book called Super Mystery #2. IT is by Ann M. Martin. This book is about a group of girls who run a baby sitting club and baby sits for other peoples kids. They also solve some mystery’s. Right now in the story the baby sitters have to baby sit kids and they have to solve a mystery of who’s been giving them crazy phone calls. It takes place in winter but it hasn’t snowed in a long time there. I would recommend this book because it’s cool to find out mystery’s and just fun to read.One of my favorite characters is Kristy because she is really outgoing and organized.

I learned that Martin Luther was killed April 4th,1968. He was born Jan.15th,1928. He wanted to stop slavery and help people understand that it’s not whats on the outside,it’s whats on the inside that matters. He made a speech called “I Have A Dream”. Dave is a man who came in with some dummies. He made them talk, sing, and dance. It was really fun to whach. He had about 5 dummies. There names where Claire, Skippy, and Batman. There are 2 others but I can’t remember their names. The whole school went to the gym for a asembly and thats when we ment Dave and his dummies. Well, that’s what I did this Wednesday.
